Michael Morgan joined the Blue Star Basketball Family in 2007 following a seven year career at the University of Iowa. Michael is a Hawkeye alum playing at his alma mater from 1985-88. He joined Lisa Bluder's staff in 2000, and was a part of 6 post season berths, four of which were NCAA tournament appearances. In 2001 he was a part of the programs Big Ten Championship season.

During his playing career at Iowa he was a part of four NCAA tournament appearances, and he was awarded the Most Dedicated Player Award & Most Improved Player Award in 1998. Michael earned a Bachelors Degree in Communication, and after graduating took on a position at Urbandale High School in Iowa as an assistant coach.

Morgan's experience branches out to the business world as well. He worked at American Media Inc, in Des Moines Iowa for seven years. Then in 1993 he was a senior sales consultant responsible for selling training products and serves to Fortune 500 companies.

Morgan is happily married and a father of four. He and his family still reside in Iowa.
