Glenn Senecal

Glenn Senecal joined Blue Star in the summer of 2018 after over 30 years in the college game at various levels. Senecal’s most recent stint was at Rhode Island College as the head coach, after being an assistant at Central Connecticut State University for seven years.

The Nichols College graduate prior to working with the Great Danes, Senecal was the head coach at Mitchell College for three seasons beginning in 2003.
While at Mitchell, Senecal led the team to a regular season co-championship in Region 21 and a runner-up finish in the Northeast Division III Association of Independents.
He has served as an assistant at Boston University, Bryant University, The College of the Holy Cross, Assumption College and Nichols College as both a men’s and women’s assistant coach throughout his career..
During Senecal’s tenure at Boston University, the Terriers won their first America East Championship and appeared in the NCAA Tournament. Senecal also helped guide Assumption to the NCAA Tournament.
Senecal, began his career as an assistant varsity coach at Tourtellotte Memorial High in Thompson, CT. and then at Marianapolis Prep before joining the college ranks.
Senecal resides in Connecticut with wife and family.
