As a former college coach I felt that we had to offer more than just a list of names to our subscribers. BLUE STAR BASKETBALL REPORT is no longer just a Report – a Package. For years, scouting reports only provided a list of players' names, but we now feel that the Blue Star Basketball Report has become a means to connect college coaches to the grassroots basketball community across the country. By allowing our non-D1 subscribers to reach out and send messages to the various high school coaches, travel coaches, and team contacts across the country, the Blue Star Basketball Report helps to build contacts for a college program.

Our USJN basketball events are growing and we are now providing "Pool All-Star Teams" to our subscribers (available online). As NCAA viewing periods continue to get shorter, the ability of evaluators to see all participants at a given event is nearly impossible. This feature will allow subscribers to directly receive the top players in each Pool of our various USJN events.

Along those same lines, we have expanded our staff of evaluators. In 2012 we have more than 150 years of college basketball experience on our staff. This included former head coaches as well as recruiting coordinators from various conferences all over the country. At one point this spring we had 10 evaluators covering 7 events at one time. As I tell my friends, "It is like being a recruiting coordinator without the NCAA baton rule".

Our Unsigned Senior Report has become a huge hit since 2007. Once the November signing period occurs, we put together a listing of players that are still available, organized by state and ability. I know that after the November signing period, college coaches are looking "under every rock" to find good players who are still available to sign. Last year, this listing was over 100 pages long!

These additions are some of the ways we knew to build bridges between the girls basketball world and college coaches at all levels. I am confident you will not be disappointed.
